The Criminal Law Anne Rabbitte (Recruitment of Children to Engage in Criminal Activity) Bill 2018, more commonly referred to as Fagan\u2019s Law, will make it an offence for an adult to recruit a child to carry out a criminal offence on his or her behalf.<\/p>\n<p>RAS spokesman Benny Gilsenan said: \u201cChildren are being recruited by criminals to sell smuggled cigarettes and other illegal products on streets and in markets all over the country. This is exploitation of children to commit serious crime and has to stop.
